We have placed bat-boxes in the Doñana Biological Reserve (EBD-CSIC) in which we have installed transponder readers connected to a data storage system. These readers are prepared to read the transponder inserted in each greater noctule (Nyctalus lasiopterus) every time a bat enters or leaves a bat-box.

取樣方法
The RFID is injected subcutaneously with a surgical needle in every bat. The bat boxes located in Doñana are equipped with an antenna, a reader which is capable of storing the reading data and allowing us to download it.
| 研究範圍 | We have been capturing bats, Nyctalus lasiopterus, since 2012. Every year we performance a masive netting day, it is usually in July but in 2021 and 2022 we carried out more than one samplig day at each location: Doñana Biological Reserve (EBD-CSIC), Mª Luisa Park and Zoobotanical in Jerez. Once the bats are capture we injected an RFID subcutaneously into each bat so that it could be read by the Smart bat boxes installed in Doñana Biological Reserve (EBD-CSIC) |

方法步驟描述:
- First of all we capture the bat and inject the RFID. Secondly, we condition the bat boxes to be smart bat boxes After that we need the bats to enter or exit the boxes and provide us with readers Finally we download the readers and now we can start working with the data.
