Description

La colección Antonio del Cerro consta de unos 7000 ejemplares de Orthoptera y Dermaptera, entre otros, capturados en la Sierra de Cazorla (Jaén) en los años 1975, 1976 y 1977. La colección se encuentra en el fondo del Museo de Zoología Ibérica Antonio Notario, perteneciente al Departamento de Sistemas y Recursos Naturales de la ETSMFMN (UPM).

Sampling Methods

Es el primer muestreo que se realizó sobre los ortópteros de Cazorla en los años 1975 a 1977. . La recoleccción tuvo lugar preferentemente en praderas o "navas".

Method step description:

  1. Para la captura de los insectos se utilizaron preferentemente mangas de colectar lepidópteros, usando el método de captura "Sweeing", también denominado como "Batido-Barrido". Los Microhábitats en los que se hizo especial incapié fueron: bajo piedras, sobre piedras, tocones de árboles, agujeros y galerías subterráneas poco profundas. También se muestrearon: aledaños de casas y construcciones, orillas de ríos y arroyos, ecotonos en general y plantas huesped. Para la captura nocturna se empleó luz artificial (espectros visible y ultravioleta) La muerte de los insectos se realizó en recipientes con acetato de etilo para las capturas diurnas y con cianuro potásico para las capturas nocturnas. La identificación de las especies se realizó utilizando las claves de Bolívar (1876 y 1900), Morales (1942,1945 y 1947), Harz (1969 y 1975) y Harz y Kalternbach (1976).
