Description
This list of occurrences includes all the species of vascular plants observed during a 10 years experiment designed to study plant succession with natural vegetation and abandoned crops in two sites of Bardenas Reales (Navarre, NE Spain).
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 237 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Project Data
The objective of this work is to study plant succession in two sites with natural vegetation and abandoned crops in Landazuría for10 years: Muga del Vedado (2009-2018) and Cabezo de la Junta (2011-2020). It has been studied vegetation cover in spring and autumn, and floristic composition and species richness have been measured only in spring.

Funding | Comunidad de Bardenas Reales |
Design Description | Four experimental plots were delimited on slopes at each site: in the upper part were set two plots with scrub-grasslands and in the lower part two crop plots that ceased cultivation at the beginning of the experiment; one plot of each vegetation type was excluded from livestock. |
