Description
Esta colección de cerca de 6000 pliegos corresponde a plantas relacionadas con el ámbito forestal. Destacan las plantas recolectadas en los pastizales de nuestros bosques, principalmente Leguminosas y Gramíneas, seguidas de Labiadas y Compuestas. Han sido recogidas mayoritariamente entre las décadas de los cuarenta y sesenta. En la década de los cuarenta destacan los botánicos Carlos Vicioso y Manuel Martín Bolaños, así como José Borja, Pio Font Quer y Pedro Palao Ferrer. En la década de los sesenta destacan las aportaciones realizadas por Pedro Montserrat. Muchas de las especies proceden de Andalucía (Huelva, Jaén, Cádiz,…), Madrid, Cuenca, Cáceres, Baleares,… pero el resto están muy distribuidas a lo largo de la geografía de España.
