Description
Metabase de datos de la Red de Parcelas Permanentes del ICIFOR-INIA para el estudio del crecimiento, dinámica y producción de diferentes especies forestales presentes en la Península Ibérica. Los primeros inventarios comienzan en los años 60, repitiéndose de forma periódica cada 5-10 años. Las parcelas están repartidas por todo el área de distribución de las especies, en diferentes edades y calidades de estación. Se distribuyen en 31 provincias y 10 CCAA, estando actualmente activas más de 500 parcelas. Se incluyen parcelas con objetivos de producción (madera, piña, biomasa), de efectos de los tratamientos selvícolas, de efectos de las quemas prescritas, de regeneración (natural y post-incendio) y de gestión sostenible.
Data Records
The data in this sampling event resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 1,503 records.
1 extension data tables also exist. An extension record supplies extra information about a core record. The number of records in each extension data table is illustrated below.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Sampling Methods
Trees within each plot are periodically measured for height and DBH (diameter at breast height). Some trees are cored.
