Description
This dataset contains 45902 fungal occurrences (Fungi, Myxomycota) from the Basque Country (France, Spain) and neighbouring areas. To a lesser extent specimens from other areas of France and Spain, Portugal, Macaronesian Islands and Italy are also kept. Data were recorded since 1975. Records with a voucher specimen are deposited in ARAN-Fungi herbarium.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 45,902 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Project Data
The Mycological department has worked the mycological inventory of the Basque Country and neighbouring areas since the 1970s. Voucher specimens of 45902 species are deposited in ARAN-herbarium. Occurrences from several areas of the Iberian Peninsula and other European countries are also included to a lesser extent.
