The tribe Eucerini (Hymenoptera: Apidae) comprises a well defined group of solitary bees widely distributed throughout the Palaearctic region, with particularly high diversity in the Mediterranean Basin (Michener 2007, Dorchin 2023). Commonly referred to as long-horned bees because of the often elongated antennae of the males, members of this tribe are important pollinators (Potts et al 2010, Ollerton et al 2011) and exhibit a broad range of ecological specialisations, particularly in their floral host associations, ranging from generalist to highly specialised pollen collecting strategies (Dorchin et al 2021). According to the most recent European checklist, the fauna of Eucerini currently comprises 110 species, including 89 species of Eucera Scopoli, 1770 and 21 species of Tetralonia Spinola, 1839 (Ghisbain et al 2025). Within Eucera, the nominotypical subgenus Eucera is the most species-rich (64 species), followed by Synhalonia (21 species) and Cubitalia (four species). This diversity reflects both the remarkable richness of European long-horned bees and the considerable taxonomic complexity of the group. Despite this, faunistic knowledge of Eucerini in the Iberian Peninsula remains incomplete, and new regional records continue to emerge through targeted surveys and the revision of reference collections. Several species of Eucerini are considered rare or remain poorly documented, with few confirmed records and limited information on their distribution, ecological requirements, and biology. In this context, historical entomological collections represent an essential source of biodiversity data (Suarez and Tsutsui 2004). The aim of the present paper is to document and analyse the material of the tribe Eucerini preserved in the private collection of Luis Óscar Aguado Martín. Assembled over more than three decades of professional and independent entomological activity, this collection constitutes an important repository of faunistic information for Spain and Portugal. Its revision provides new regional records, confirms the occurrence of poorly known species, and illustrates the scientific value of long-term field sampling and curated collections. Luis Óscar Aguado Martín is a Spanish entomologist and environmental consultant with over thirty years of experience in insect biodiversity, pollinator ecology, macro-photography, and environmental education. His interest in natural history began in childhood, collecting insects alongside his father, the also entomologist Gregorio Aguado, and subsequently developed into a sustained professional and scientific career. The material assembled through decades of systematic sampling across Spain and Portugal, complemented by specimens contributed by fellow entomologists, has resulted in a scientifically valuable private collection that significantly enhances our understanding of the distribution and diversity of Iberian bees.

| Descripción del diseño | All specimens were taxonomically revised. Previously identified material was re-examined, and specimens lacking specific identification were determined by the authors to the species level. Earlier determinations made by L.O. Aguado Martín or by other specialists were critically assessed and, when necessary, updated. Nomenclature and taxonomic arrangement follow the most recent European checklist (Ghisbain et al 2025). In cases of doubtful identification, specimens were rehydrated to allow the extraction and examination of male genitalia. Male genitalic structures were used as primary diagnostic characters when external morphology was insufficient to ensure reliable identification. Faunistic data were transcribed directly from specimen labels, including locality, province, country, date of collection, collector, and, when available, associated plant species and determiner. All information was standardised and compiled into a digital database. Although the records are summarised in the main text, the complete dataset is also provided as Supplementary Material in spreadsheet format to facilitate reuse of the data. All occurrence records are furthermore available through GBIF. All examined material remains deposited in the private collection of L.O. Aguado Martín. Most photographs were taken by A.
