說明
Colección entomológica. El número total de ejemplares registrados es de 25.735. La colección incluye todo tipo de Artrópodos, aunque los Coleópteros representan un porcentaje muy alto, y en menor medida otros órdenes de insectos, arácnidos, miriápodos y crustáceos. Los ejemplares provienen de colectas realizadas a partir de 1975 (aprox.). La mayoría de ejemplares son de especies colectadas en Canarias, y en menor medida en Madeira y en Azores. El 86% de los ejemplares están identificados a nivel de especie, y el 42% de los registros van acompañados de las coordenadas geográficas del lugar de colecta. Se incluyen abundantes holotipos y paratipos de especies macaronésicas. Está particularmente bien representada la fauna subterránea de estas islas.
